I am aware there is a Sex Stuff category.
What is permitted? Is total frontal nudity OK? Can hardcore sex be displayed??
I have read the policy, it is not specific at all. |

I would check out the category to see what other people are selling. Of course other sellers may be breaking the rules and haven't been caught. Full frontal used to be banned as well as kiddie porn. It's not my thing so I'm not well informed. There used to be a lot of people asking but not recently. |

Kiddie porn is against the law everywhere. The ecrater policies I saw did not mention frontal nudity.
The stuff I saw would indicate strict censorship. I wonder if it is not unnecessary self censorship. |

Just ask eCrater, then there won't be any guessing. |

I agree with Sammy that the best answer would be to ask the eCrater staff.
If you plan on selling items in the Sex Stuff Category, I would STRONGLY suggest you open a different store for those items. When someone looks at one of your items, say a drugstore postcard, they are also shown a random selection of other items from your store. If I was looking at the postcard and the random items were all from the Sex Stuff Category, I would be leaving your store quickly and wouldn't return. Now I know my opinion would not be shared by everyone, but having 2 stores would avoid the problem. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to avoid having the items in the random product selection other than having a second store.

Ditto what Sheila said. If and when I accidently end up in the sex stuff category, I backpedal out of there as fast as I can. |

I was going to open a separate store for any adult stuff I might sell on ecrater. |

I think that would be a very good idea. People who are offended by adult listings would probably not shop for your other items if they come across a porn listing while browsing pots and pans or whatever you sell. It will effect your placement in Google shopping also if your listings are combined. |
