A big surprise for me to find this out on my second endicia package when they asked if I wanted to mail today on a holiday or tomorrow! So I had to double check.
Usually, if I know there is a holiday, I try to sleep in. Even without knowing, after going almost 48 hours without sleep other than nodding off while sleeping, I slept in until the time I usually have to have the mail out. Of course, I have a stack of orders that I was frantically trying to prep to go out. Now I can slow down a bit.
I wonder why when you go to the USPS website there is never a notice on the home page that today is a holiday. You have to scrounge for it! |

Oh how I wished I had realized it was a holiday before I got all of our shipping ready to go AND sent my husband out in the 28 degree weather for the trip to the post office. |

We are at 22 and knowing how icy things are underneath from being out yesterday (we had a Sunday mail delivery and the boxes were sticking out of the mailbox) I sure was glad I didn't have to take a rick of walking outside. |
