Because there are active links on the internet to that item or someone saved a bookmark to that item. There could be links on Google, Bing, Yahoo, DDG, somebody's blog, a saved link on Pinterest, facebook, instagram, etc. Those links rarely go away. You could delete the item, but then the preson would see No such item on a dead-end page. Personally, if they found your item, maybe they will stay awhile and look around. |
