Killer startups
If you are enjoying using eCRATER you may vote for it by clicking on the plus sign (below the number of the killers). |

What is VC $ ?
I'm assuming you aren't interested in being bought or going IPO unless you charge a H of a lot for the premium positioning. |

At this moment in time 50% of the people who voted think ecrater will go IPO and 50% think it will be bought.
Would someone explain to me what VC $ is. Please. |

That "Killer Data" section is pretty sparse!
Sorry, Maggie, I don't know what VC $ is either... |

Is there any way to get on a wait list for the IPO to get a chance to buy the stock if it appears? Thanks. Paulette |

Love it. It would have to do better than my current portfolio. |

binkie - in the top left corner, it has a little icon with a blue box and a gray arrow shape attached to it. The blue box says how many votes (at this second, it's 64) and the arrow shape contains the plus sign. Click that plus sign, and it counts your vote (you will see the number change immediately, and the button will become grayed out).
I voted! |

It is now 65, I just voted.
Has anyone heard anything about eCrater going public? I would buy stock here but... on the whole thing. I just hope eCrater doesn't sell but I would understand if the offer was too good not to sell. |

Here's a sad story for you. In 1998 when I joined ebay I was so impressed with the possiblities of it that I wrote to help and support asking where I could buy their stock. A lady wrote back to me and signed her first name but I don't remember the name. Might have been Meg for all I know. She wrote and I'll never forget it: "Thanks for your interest in my our little company, but it's privately held." What stays in my mind is that adjective she used: Little. Now is that a sad story or not? I've sent the same email to Auctiva with much the same response. I missed Paypal too. I'd love to get in on this one. Somebody just has to let us in! I think they ought to at least put us on a wait list to honor that we were the first people trying to get in. Paulette |

I'm a bit confused how are you supposed to buy stock when eCrater is not making money? In fact the owner is putting his own into it to support it.
I clicked to vote. Now it's 70. |

I don't know if you have to be making money to offer your stock. I just want to get in on the ground floor of one of these companies with potential. By the time they make the IPO I'm always priced out of the market I think they ought to make a waiting list and give a special price to early believeers. |
