Hi! I just signed up - looks cool! I'm not sure that this is the place for me though...I don't see a whole lot of what I sell. Are there many custom boutique clothing/accessory makers here? I make Custom Deco shoes.
I could just be missing it.....  |

Hi and welcome,
There are quite a few custom jewelry makers and a few who make children's clothing and candle/gift makers. But they are only brought to my attention if they announce themselves here in the forum. People open shops all the time and never come near the forums.
Just because you don't see a lot of what you sell, doesn't mean it won't sell here. Your chances for sales are better if you don't have competition or not much. IMHO there are too many cookie cutter sellers and that makes the site boring. |

| It doesn't matter so much as eCrater is really set up to be standalone shops. So how well a shop does generally depends greatly on how well the shop is promoted. |

| Hey, I am brand spankin' newbie to ecrater... just finished setting up my shop.... but was wondering how you guys go about changing the image/photo on your home/welcome page... I uploaded my logo which is displayed at the top.. but there's still the annoying image of wine glass on my store welcome page.. i believe it is the default photo/image that came with the color/style I selected for my store... ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH, MUCH APPREIATED! Thanks so much! |

I lots of lookers so far and have sold these items before but on eBay. It's a niche market that I sell to, that's why I do well with it.

To change the image just go to the template and click on it. It will then allow you to change the main image. |
