I've got an item in my shop called "Another Night at Scottie's". Anybody have any idea why I can't pull it up (from the actual shop page) if I include "another" in my search terms? I don't include "Scottie's" because I know the apostrophe causes a problem.
Another odd one is "The Trees Have Eyes". I can't pull it up by "the trees", "trees have" or "have eyes". However, "trees eyes" pulls it up.
Are we only allowing nouns now? (haha) |

I too have run into things not coming up in my store search or on the ecrater.com search.
Have you contacted them? Curious to know what has changed. |

same here, i have some items by JL Audio, however, if "JL Audio" and "JL" don't return any results, only "Audio" alone does |

Well, that was fast! Here's Dimitri's response:
Quote: | Hello:
I updated the search. Now as you can see it's much faster. (at least 10
times faster). The new algorithm ignores some generic words like "have",
"another", "at", "the".
I am still tweaking some things though ... the problem with your searches will
be resolved soon.
regards,
Dimitri
