Dorothy gave you some good advice.
Before you get involved in affiliations do a search for the products that interest you. Look at how they are presented. Some have stock photos so small you can't tell what they are. Some give only catalogue numbers as titles and a one or two word description. Some companies make all their money from the fees they charge sellers and none from the sales of merchandise.
Look carefully at how many people are already selling the goods you want to sell. If you look at item XYZ and find 50 of them all from different sellers, I wouldn't waste my energy contacting the company. Compare their prices for the same item. Also look at the feedback of the sellers. Most likely they have none and no unrated transactions.
Keep in mind that these items do not show up on Google.

Martial arts store, I think you will have a problem selling to the US when your only payment method is cash on delivery. The fees are too high. Why buy from the cheapest source and then end up paying more because of the COD fees? |

The COD fees are normally paid by the sender. |

i had it like that, so that if people would buy something, they'd only have to pay for it after it was delivered. but back then it was under construction, so i wouldn't send anything. if I already had it on paypal, people would buy something while it wasn't ready..so i had to refund money and blabla...but now everything is working (with paypal)
only.. when you click place order, you're send to the paypal site, but it crashes there :S it works trough the email you get..anybody familiar with this problem? |
