Support for Google Analytics has been added. You can use it to fully track your store's traffic.
Options -> Enable Google Analytics |

Go back to "options" in your eCrater store.
Next to the "Enable Google Analytics" option, there is a little question mark. If you click that question mark, a box will pop up that tells you how to find your Google Analytics ID. |

Wow, it was really rather easy except for finding the ID number and after that I checked and was immediately able to see the tracking stuff. It is fantastic and I would like to say Thanks for all you have done and still are doing for us.
eCrater Rocks!!! and I really like being here. |

Its found in the google code when you sign up.
Example of valid id: UA-721520-2. It is located just "after _uacct =" in the Google Analytics code. Of course you have to register first with Google Analytics unless you have already done this. |

I'm lost. When I click on the ? and sign up it gives me a paragraph of code that I am to insert on ever single page I want to track. I saw no reference to an id number. If I have to paste that in every single listing, way over 2000, I'm not even going to try.
OKAY I got it on one--the lives and loves of maggie the cat
BUT I have 3 other shops and when I went to apply it to the second one even though I started from the second store, because I only use one email address, it labeled it as the lives and loves.... too and the code id was the same. When you have more than one store do they track it all as one. Does anyone know? |

Maggie - I think what you need to do is.....
Once you're signed up for google analytics, put in the url for your first store. Then go to eCrater admin for that store and insert only the part of all that code that google gives you for that URL that rowsofclothes explained. You only need to enter that part of the code in the place that has been set up for Google Analytics.
Then go back to google analytic settings and you should see "Add Website Profile" track another website where you would enter the url for your next store, then go to eCrater admin for that store and add the code. And repeat same process for your third store.
I think that should get all 3 stores tracked separately - if I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
I do want to add - WOW Google Analytics is way cool Thank You Dimitri! eCrater Rocks |

You can add as many sites as you wish. Each one registered under your name will have the same UA number, with the exception of the last digit , which identifies each separate store. I have easily added 4 stores.
