Hi I'm new on this site, very new and would just like to take a moment to stop in a say hi and hopefully meet some new people who are interested in what I do. I would love to get involved in a really good community and also find some nice things while I'm here!

I only have a few items in my store at the moment of course, but things should be going up fairly quickly.... Hopefully....

Hello Nightmaiden, and welcome to Ecrater. We certainly love having you here! This is a great community and you'll find lots of help here if you need it along the way. I especially enjoy those with creative abilities who can make their own products. Me, I can barely draw a stick man, lol, but that's another story.

Your About page is already laid out very well, and other pages are started as well, so you are definitely on the right track. I think it would be wise to put some finishing touches on your pages though before you really work up much inventory in the store. For example, you could list any info on shipping, payment, multiple order discounts (if any), ect, on your Terms page, as well as more questions on your FAQ page related to your terms or inventory that you think your potential buyers might need to know before purchasing. You can check out any of our stores for ideas on exactly what you might need/want to put on these pages. The main thing is you will want most of this in detail and taken care of before many customers come knocking on your door. And don't forget to put a picture up related to your store on your Home page where the "Your Image Here" logo currently is.

You may already have all this planned, so if I'm jumping the gun, I apologize, lol. We just love sharing everything we have learned along the way to help others succeed. Your success here helps all of us, too.

Night maiden, if you don't add to your titles words that say what the items are no one will ever find them. People find your items using key words and your titles don't have any.

Important key words for you are:
handmade or artisan or whatever you call yourself
bracelet, earrings, necklace or whatever the name of your item is
lava beads, glass beads, faceted beads or some of whatever you use

No one has ever entered prayer for pele in a search engine. Your pieces look nice so you want to make them visible.

You may want to take a bit of time to proof read the information pages & descriptions for some reversed letters along the way to get that over the top polished look!
