And the department stores lose. Or the sellers, in this case. Do you want to do all of this work for a few cents profit?
Like I said, there is a place for the things you sell. This is just a case of trying to be fair to everyone. This is no lie, now-there is one category where a seller actually listed 80 PAGES of his stuff, practically overnight-it was at the head of the category before you got to anyone else's store. Do you think that's fair? He was a dropshipper, and was flagged. He can still sell, he can put everything in one category because it does technically fit in that category. He just can't take over the category any longer. |

No joke-there may have been half a dozen items that slipped in there during his download, or bulk upload, whatever you call it. But they were there! |

Some folks really need to lighten up on the drop shippers. So what if there are lots of same are similar items listed? That can be said about many, many items and not just drop ship stuff. Is there some rule somewhere that only X number of a certain item can be listed? |

Aspen - you make a good point - I have a jillion post cards (ok, not quite it just seems like it) and there are a lot of other sellers that have post cards. I think the issue is the "drop shipper". Dawn |

Exactly-if you have found and listed a gazillion different postcards, more power to you! That takes a lot of work-and if another seller comes in right after you and lists HIS gazillion different postcards-more power to him, too!
Comparing that to a dropshipper is like comparing apples to oranges...you are two different types of store, and this is the whole point. You apples shouldn't have to compete with the oranges. Each is good in it's own way, but NOT the same. |

So what you are saying is one seller with one type product and business model should have special treatment over another? A store is a store the only difference is our business model. |

glassware (glswr)
Objects, especially containers, made of glass. Also called glasswork.
Noun 1. glassware - an article of tableware made of glass
glasswork
It sounds to me as though this moderator made a change that is dubious at best and the whole thing was just an excuse to rant to this seller about drop-shipping, which is none of her business. I don't care if she is a volunteer, she should keep her little opinions to herself.
I'm thinking that there needs to be consensus on what belongs in various categories. Are there guidelines? |

NO THAT I HAVE FOUND. ONLY THING I DO IS LOOK AT THE CATEGORIES 1ST AND I MAKE A JUDGMENT CALL BASED ON THAT. |
