When checking out the 'source' of where a visitor came from & it says 'direct' what does that mean exactly? I know it's not that the person has come from a google search or ecrater, b/c it clearly states when visits come from those sources. Thanks for any help,Shelly |

Direct traffic refers to traffic that comes to your store directly by way of a bookmark or if they enter your URL into their browser. If someone visits your site and book marks it then returns later that would be direct. If you hand out business cards for example and someone enters your store URL to take a look that would be direct traffic. |

Thanks alot Aspen . That does help clear things up. I guess all the numbers are connected. Someone finding me thru google & bookmarking me would be counted in both categories. |
