Intimate Dimensions is the name of my store,
I've listed electronics, jewelry, leather and more,
Paypal as my gateway, so I could accept credit
Sadly my bills are paid not by profit, but debit!

I started with cookies, seemed easy enough,
but selling them online was just a little to tough,
I then listed electronics from a warehouse I trusted,
Items, when delivered, were broken or busted!

Back up! Regroup, slow down and think,
Thats when I used the Ebay Pulse link!
Leather! That's a seller! Yep that's the ticket,
New Supplier, New Ads, again i got with it...,

Harley Jackets, Bikers Chaps and Skorts made of Leather,
It appeared (for a while) that things turned for the better,
But my bubble soon busted, when I began to realize,
People lie to THEMSELVES when it comes to their size.

Not giving up, think I found my niche,
I am happily selling things that I stitch.
Curtains, Aprons, Book Covers and Purses,
Tabbards designed for pediatric nurses.

Then lo and behold, an email from ebay,
Since a store you do have, more you shall pay.
Before granny goes broke, Ebay, see ya later,
I am opening my store over on eCrater.

Thank You! I thought I did pretty good on that myself... Very Happy I also stopped by your store, I really do like your logo and color scheme. I make some renaissance wear, not enough to dedicate a store category to yet, since I hand stitch the renwear stuff, it takes a while to complete an outfit. I am still working on trying to get my store set up as well. and I am trying not to make a big mess of it...LOL I think I might need help. I have been paying very close attention to everything that BigNT has been posting and trying to follow the advice. Good Luck to Us All, we all swim in this sea together...

At first I had the red templete so that is why my home button etc is on the red side but could never get it to match. So I changed to the other color and it works ok. Wish I can change the font on the other words. Looks a little weird. I am trying to figure out a way to take a picture, with a celtic frame laying around the item, then putting that picture in. I am hoping it shows a frame around it but I see the program automatically crops it. The right size is going to be fun to figure out. It's going to take a while to get those catagory pictures done I think.

Okay heres the deal, I'm not a guru, but I think I can help. When I right click on that image and check properties, it say the image size is 175 x 196 , that is pixels, I believe. If you made the image that size with the frame included, it might not crop it down? Just a thought. I am talking about the image box that has your Company name, not the home logo across the top. That one is 250 x 68. Hope I helped.

Intimate....You're on the right track....you can't depend on others for much of nothing. Sell those things you have made yourself or have in stock. We use to be big time into wholesale. We learned depending on someone else to deliver pallets and truckloads of goods or anything else for that matter was a hopeless cause. We now own lock, stock & barrel, and warehouse, everything we sell. This way we can ship the same or next business day guaranteed without depending on anyone else's excuses for not doing so.

Good luck with your business and hope you have many successful years to come!

Intimate Dimensions RIGHT ON! I'm glad that you found your creative edge and are now doing what you love and have more of a peace of mind. I feel the same way about my stuff. I have another ecrater account, but may close that one, because I too am dealing with manufacturers and distributors and well it's a big headache! The stuff that I do now is what I've been in the field for the past 11 years of my life. It's my niche, my life, my market...lol. I should have been doing this all along!

Like the lightbulb finally goes on...lol Very Happy

Try www.irfanview.com to manage your pictures. It is free downloadable software (a small compact file, too!), simple as pie to figure out, and sooo easy to resize photos. Irfan, you ist das man! I love you!

Great poem. Makeovers, I love your idea. How unique. Tell me, can you do kids with pink hair?

My attempt: Rolling Eyes

I bought & sold upon Ebay,
I never got my Pink-ish say
I've been poohed & called a sayer-nay
Because I thought there was a better way.
But, tomorrow is another day
Flatline, ah, well, so they may
I'll not shout "Hip-Hip Hooray"!
But, let it be a lesson learned,
Ignore thy members, thou shalt get burned.
