When new items are added to your store, does the widget update itself or do you have to repost the code after adding the new items to your store?
Have my widget posted to my blog: http://bluerosesgiftsandmore.blogspot.com |

Yes it does. I saw the items I added after I put my widget to my website on that widget. |

Select the type of widget you want and copy the code from "widget" on your admin page. When you open the page you want to add it to on your Google Page Creator, you bring the cursor where you want to add the widget. Click on the "edit html" (located bottom right). Paste the code there. Click on update. Preview the page to see if it looks OK. Then "save" and "publish". |

I can't seem to get the widget to work on my website. I copy and paste the code, but it totally locks up the page and I have to ctrl+alt+delete myself free every time and the darn thing never even displays in the first place. I can view it on eCrater and everyone else's website, so I don't believe it's a Javascript issue...anyone have any ideas? |

Hello stunningstylesclothing,
What's the URL of the page you placed the widget in? |

well since it locked up the page, I removed it so that my users could still effectively browse the site, but I've created an invisible test page here so for your purposes, you can still take a look without me having to worry about my customers seeing it: www.StunningStylesClothing.com/widget.aspx
I have no idea why it's an issue since I don't have any problems viewing anyone else's widgets--including my own on the ecrater page where you pull the code from.
Your help is greatly appreciated. |

It's a Microsoft Office Live website....so, given that it's Microsoft, I'd be shocked if there was some sort of compatibility issue |

I think I'm blind as I can't find the widget section of the site. It said to look below "Featured Items" but I don't see it.
Cheers

I don't know where you got that. Are you talking about the featured category buttons on your homepage (or whereever you got that piece of info)? Those are just buttons. That is not a widget.
To use a wiget you need to copy coding and paste it at a site outside of eCrater (somewhere you are allowed to edit html). So people can see it at that site and click on the small photos of your items to get to your site (to the page the item is on).
Want to see examples of it go to the first page of this thread and take a look at my site or BigTall or any of the others who posted examples of it on their websites (not stores).
