When the weatherperson predicts a blizzard what are the things you rush out and buy before the snow starts?

How far will you drive to get them?

What do you do if the store is out?

For me it is coffee, milk and cat food. I can be snowed in a long time as long as I'm well caffeined and have milk for cereal and don't have to stare in disappointed cat's eyes.

I have never not found these items in the first store but I have several stores to choose from so I wouldn't have to go far.

Oops, didn't think about the water. You can't drink Lubbock water. Anytime there's a storm warning, the stores sell out of bottled water.

I try to keep a well stocked cupboard all the time so I don't get caught up in a buying frenzy.

After I get firewood delivered tomorrow, I will be back to the place where I can live without power for several days. Not that I want to...just I'm prepared to if I have to.
