Hi everyone.
I am a weather fanatic. Love to know what's happening all over the USA.

Here in Ohio we've had the snowiest February ever. So far in March, 7 inches. It warmed a little yesterday and rained taking all the snow away.

Good? Guess again. Everything turned to ice. Even our wires are covered and as I write this at 2 am the lights are flickering.

I garden seriously and can hardly wait for the first bud to pop up!

I long for the songs of birds. We are starting to hear some but nothing like the chorus of spring! I long for the green leaves on trees.

Weather here in Middle Tennessee has been so changable. Sunday was 70s, Monday morning was warm, then in the middle of the day it got cold.

Weather here in southeast texas is driving me crazy!!! I'm a california girl used to SUN SUN SUN!! I moved here about 18 months ago and still can't understand how it can be nice one day and miserably cold the next. I love everything about it here but the weather. I had to go out and buy new clothes, I cant wear anything that I used to wear back home Sad

Here on the east coast of Florida, its been sunny and bright! About 85 degrees and the best time of the year to live here.

As for the sound of birds, we're hearing motorcycles more than anything right now. It's the infamous BIKE WEEK in Daytona and the riders come south for a nice ride along the river and beach.

I've had more than 100 inches of snow so far this year. How do you think I feel about winter right now? I want it over and soon, preferably without my basement flooding when all this snow melts.

It is warm and sunny here in Arizona, in the high 70's with a light breeze.
Spring training is kicking into high gear! Grace

I think it was Saturday - maybe Sunday
that was 70 degrees
then the next day we had 5" of snow and it's been cold all week. Had a little more snow last night.

The sun will come out, tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow, therell be sun
Jus thinkin about, tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow
til theres none

When Im stuck with the day thats gray and lonely
I just stick out my chin and grin and say, ohhh

The sun will come out, tomorrow
So you gotta hang on til tomorrow
Come what may...

Chorus:
Tomorrow, tomorrow
I love ya, tomorrow
Youre always a day away

well I for one are ready for spring. but kentucky weather is so weird. 60-65 degrees one day. snow and sleet a few days later.

so with march being here and april up next. it really doesn't matter. strange weather all the time.

but I so love the sun and the warmer temps! Laughing

Today it's 60 deg. here in SE WA state. Still gets very chilly at night. IMO anything below 70 is cold.
I did notice a few flowers starting to come up this past week.

Little bit of green here and there for horses and cattle to nibble on.

Today/tommorrow....
Rain showers off and on all day, temperature dropping. Some snow accumulation later in the day with an increasing amount after 8pm. 2 to 4 inches depending on where you are.

Oh joy.

I am so tired of this cold / warm / cold / warm weather.

Well, CLOSETS, here in PA it was mild enough for the schoolkids to have outside recess. Tonight it is supposed to snow 4-6 inches. My hyacinth & crocuses are starting to pop up, just in time to have snow loaded on them.

We got a bit more snow. The trials have been groomed and it is suppose to get in the mid teens today. Going for one more ride before the sleds get tucked in for the year.

In our third week of spring here in BC just north of the 49th. I leave my patio door open for a few hours during the day, can run to the mailbox in my shirt sleeves and have a pleasant walk with a light jacket or sweater. I only turn the heat on after dark.

Cash is in kitty heaven because she can climb her favorite tree and watch the world go by without freezing her kitty buns off and no leaves means she stll has a great view.

I think about living in New England or Quebec again and shudder at the thought of all that snow, all those boots, mufflers and heavy coats and digging cars out of snow sometimes 2-3 times a day and I wonder that they have any population left.

Then again I remember Florida weather with great fondness.
