You have really been around, Mary! I am sure it was difficult to move so often but it must have been very nice to see so many diferent areas. Took a peep at your store. I love your store! You have a lot of very nice items. You did a great job setting it up.
PS, I love autumn, too.

Mobile, AL here.
Most of my married life (45 years yesterday) Baton Rouge, LA. My home state is California. (Born in Calistoga, CA, in a valley, an old original volcanic crater from Mt. St. Helens, often called the "Valley of the Moon" (hence part of the reason for my name)
Now, there's more than you really wanted or needed to know about me!

It is interesting to see where everyone is from. I guess I should have mentioned that between Louisiana (my home state) and WA state (where I live now) I lived in Arkansas and North Carolina. |

Hi Everyone,
I caught the tail end of this conversation. I just wanted to say hello to everyone from Michigan!!! I was born and raised here, and I would move in a second to somewhere warm.

Yeah but global warming makes Michigan so much more bearable these days. Near 50 here in Lansing right now.

I still want the warm sunshine on a regular basis. I hate the weather changes in Michigan. They say if you don't like our weather, just wait a minute. And its so true.
Almost thru December, spring is just around the corner lol |

I love Michigan and in the winter I don't have to get out much which make winter fly.
Unfortnately all them southern states are red states and the ground moves in Cali. I like my blue state and the fact the ground doesn't move. I am not against being Floridian during the Nov-Mar months though if I could afford it fincially but I have NO desiret to live in the south year round. I'll take the sub zero weather first.
Where in MI are you at?

Hi THere
I am in Goodrich, which is 1/2 hour southeast of Flint. We live in the country, and I have to admit it is beautiful when the snow first falls, and the trees all have snow on them, but then I say "Lets call it wrap, get the snow outta here and bring in the sun!"
I love the ocean. Last year was the first time I went to Florida in the heat of the summer, and while my family was dying, I was rejoicing. The first day was a bear, we walked in and out of stores just for the air conditioning. But, after that first day, I was used to it and in my glory!!!!

P.S
CONGRATS ON NOT SMOKING!!! How awesome is that? I smoked, but only when I drove. SOoo maybe 3 or 4 a day, and I quit it was easy though. My husband was driving down the road, and I get a phone call from him and he asked me how is my day? And If I have been smoking??? WHYYYY NO...and he says,, ooo really? Look in your rearview mirror...and he was RIGHT behind me. That was enough, I realized that the lies, and hiding behind it had to stop!
I am happy for you....that is so great!! Don't your lungs feel so much better? Mine did.
Take Care
