The 12 Days of Christmas Collection by Fitz & Floyd was introduced in the year 2000. It was inspired by the Christmas song of the same name and consisted of one piece for each day in the song. The pieces are very popular with collectors, especially the Five (5) Gold Rings Lidded Box and the Three (3) French Hens Teapot. Production numbers for day 1 thru 5 were limited to 1500 pieces each. The Two (2) Turtle Doves Salt & Pepper Shakers below is an example of the creative design features for this collection. You may also check out part of the collection under "12 Days of Christmas" category in my store:

HOW TO REPAIR A FLEA-BITE NICK ON A GLAZED CERAMIC
Does your favorite collectible have a flea-bite chip or nick? Have you tried to repair it but is still visible? I may have a simple repair using a few items you already have in your home that may be of some help. You will need a bottle of clear fingernail polish, nail polish remover, a Q Tip swab and a collection of colored markers.
Clean the area of the nick with the nail polish remover using a cotton Q tip and let the area dry. Apply a nail polish droplet to the affected area. Depending on the size of the nick, calculate the size of your droplet and let that dry. Don't apply the nail polish by brushing across the nick. The droplet will eventually level itself out as it drys. A hairdryer may be used to speed up the drying process.
The idea is to fill in the space or chip. As the droplet dries, it fills this space and levels out to the surrounding surface edge. Once it dries, you match the color by applying the tip of the matching color marker to the affected area. If you are not completely satisfied with the color match, you simply wipe off the coloring with the polish remover and start the coloring process over. Be sure to wipe off any excess color run-off.
When you are satisfied that the color matches perfectly, you apply a final coat of the clear nail polish over area with a brush stroke. One application works most of the time. When the repair is complete, you will see that the clear nail polish gives the affected area the glaze look that matches the factory glaze. Black will be the easiest repair. I hope this is helpful and you will see that it actually works.
