Quote: | A glitch in PayPal's payment verification system is wreaking havoc on some ecommerce sites that depend on the service. For more than 48 hours, the bug in PayPal's instant payment notification has made it impossible for them to process orders, owners of these businesses complain.
Making matters worse, the glitch causes credit card holders who place orders to be billed even though they are unable to take delivery of the goods or services they've just purchased. PayPal customers began reporting the difficulty on Thursday morning and at time of publication - more than two days later - PayPal owner eBay was still struggling to fix the problem.

I started offering free shipping or upgrades to Priority Mail for people who use Google Checkout instead.
This is a golden opportunity to offer BETTER alternatives to our customers (and loosen the grip of evil companies.) |

OK, I'm taking off PP for a while.
I've been doing a little reading offsite that has scared the stuffing out of me.
I think Google Checkout is the wave of the future anyway. Thanks for the heads up. |

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Please help clarify. Google does provide Google Checkout services for international buyers too?

Means merchants outside US and UK cannot use Google Checkout to accept money. |
