Love the penies . What a great collectible for my Grandkids . They are too old for toys , but they are still kids
PS...when I was a kid in the 60's , we used to put pennies on the railroad tracks . |

So did we. It's a wonder we never got run over. I remember the first 'penny mashing machine' I ever saw was at a zoo, and we all thought it was sooo cool! Even my Dad, who never wasted money, had to watch the pennies get mashed because he remembered putting them on the tracks, too.
Come to think of it, I believe he's the one who taught us kids how to do that..and add soap to the fountain at the mall, voices to the coffee pot, etc. No wonder my mother got gray hair early!
These are a great piece of nostalgia for all of us, thanks for sharing them! |

Yes, my Grandfather taught me the railroad track trick - I was maybe 5 years old. Looking back, I do believe he caught grief from my Parents and my Grandmother about that one!
They do bring back wonderful memories. Thanks so much for the kind words!! |
