I love this site, I saw it a while back yet I didn't try it out. This week, I'll be giving it a go! I'm excited, I love the simplicity of it all. I'm mostly a seller but I hope we can all be buyers to help launch ecrater to new levels.

yeah, we have a good group over there. But it's time to give ebay some real competition. They've shot themselves in to foot and it's time for another company to step in big time. I don't like monopolies, I want to support mixing it up a bit. Plus didn't Meg retire with mega MILLLIONS of bucks? I don't feel bad for them over there.

but I hope you don't have the wrong idea. eCrater.com is NOT ebay or an ebay competitor. eCrater.coms is a shopping cart that will host your store. Nothing like ebay at all.

Yes, I like that it's not ebay. Stores are the way to go. I love my ebay store too, just not the many fees. Oh and it is a competitor to ebay...big time, like it or not.

I'm still working on filling up my store here, but busy weekends, with the superbowl and all! Anyway, I've noticed a lot of us have come over. We need to start advertising our stores. I don't think we can do it through ebay though. What are your thoughts?

BigTall, yes that is true. Caligurl, advertising our stores on these sites are pretty straight forward. Keep up good and consistent inventory, great cust service, keep a profit margin that's worth our time, offer unique things in a professional way and we should be ok. I think it will be important to diversify until one thing is really bringing enough money. Doing a regular dot com is trickier, having the right keywords and advertising are things to consider getting expert on. .. I'm still working on that myself. just make sure you offer something in demand. Btw, clothing is everywhere! Try to find a niche within clothing Wink
