Hi-- think I'm getting the hang of it -- I've had some questions answered already by nice folks on the forum, --and I think I'm going to like it here.
A couple of more questions, --1, how do I see the hit numbers for my auctions, and 2, is it possible to import feedback from yahoo, ebay, etc, and if so, how?
Thanks, I'm sure I'll need more help along the way -- I have found this site a little non-intuitive to use, but I do believe of all the places I've tried since Yahoo went down, the possiblilities are huge!

Welcome, wishing you sales early and often!
A couple of more questions, --1, how do I see the hit numbers for my auctions,
a. items, not auctions
b. sign in, click Products, hits are to the left of each item
and 2, is it possible to import feedback from yahoo, ebay, etc, and if so, how?
No, not that I know of.

As cuppatea said - ecrater.com is NOT an AUCTION site.

You can't import feedback but you can refer to it either in your item descriptions, your home page, or your about us text. |

I know this is a grossly belated post, but in response to the original posters second question.
After Yahoo! closed its site, we decide to create a way for us to export our feedback and be able to refer to it wherever we wanted. We then decided that maybe other people would be interested in using our tool.
We have had a number of ex-Yahoo and eBayers start using the tool with great results.
The end product is that it creates "badges" that display your feedback score and links back to an overall summary of your feedback from all your old or active auction sites.
This is an example of the badges, click the link below it to see an example of the summary page:
Normally, the badge image would be the link, but I can't post HTML in this forum

As for hits, you can also set up a Google Analytics account for your eCrater store (which offers stats for the whole store). |
